A quick trip to Manchester Museum this morning to look at the animals they have in the 'living world'! Last time we went Isabella was scared of pretty much all the animals as she hadn't understood they weren't real, weren't going to eat her and couldn't get out of the glass!!! She was MUCH happier this time round!

This little guy is actually living, Isabella had thought Daddy was showing her a frog and got a little worried!!! You can just see his head in the corner of the picture on the left.

Today we headed to a massive National trust park to find The Gruffalo! It was a while until we found it, but worth the wait and the kids had such a great day!

A spot of tree climbing on the way - she went very high and got there on her own...I actually couldn't reach her!!!

We found him!! Some very excited little people at this point!

The little little people waiting so patiently and adorably!!!

A very hot morning followed by heavy rain this afternoon!!!

Matteo ended up wearing most of his ice-cream this morning!!!! Good thing it's bath night!

Whilst the rain poured and Matteo slept, Isabella and I had fun with the shapes. She made a flower without any help and then a frog with very little help.

And then she made a dinosaur with lots of red teeth!!!

Then we had a challenge, I made a lion and she had to copy it!

She did incredibly well with it too and completely on her own.

We then swapped and she made a person ("A Giant Isabella with normous ears!!") which I then had to copy.

Another great day at the park! This time, it was the little one just up the road from us, but we still managed to get it all to ourselves!!!!

Matteo managed to climb up the ladder to the big slide all by himself....

Someone loves the swing now!

Our absolute favourite - a smaller slide that has a long walk up to it that means he needs absolutely no help at all!! So I am just as happy!

Isabella was caught going up the slide...again!!!

Matteo trying to take a short cut!

Who knew that round-about's where for so much more than just going round.....
