Isabella thought this was fantastic - consequently asked for chips every day!!!
First you find your spade..... Then Nona puts it in the ground and.....
Out pop potatoes!!! Just like magic! So you gather them up....
wash them....
carry them to the peeling station!
Nona peels them...
then you 'push them through the machine'....
wait for someone to cook them and finally eat them! Yummy!!!

Matteo really got to grips with toys this holidays....quickly transferred this to 'whatever I get my hands on goes in my mouth!!'

'Helping' Nona put the sticks in the mud for the tomatoes!!! Isabella is now convinced that people who 'work' actually "play in the mud!!!" 
Ah yes, the downside to working in open toe sandals.... 
so gives up and watches from the sideline instead!!!!
